What’s more annoying than the person who hangs out in the far left lane, traveling well below the speed limit, seemingly oblivious to all the people they are detaining?
If you are anything like me, you may have angrily honked at them or muttered an expletive or two, growing mystified at how anyone could be so selfish.
Funny how we can get so angry and energized by someone keeping us from reaching our destination a minute or two faster.
Of course every day there are people who get in the way of our getting to a more purposeful destination in our lives. Yet somehow we often let that slide.
So here’s my simple prescription for making good time in our lives:
Pick a lane.
If you are in the passing lane, pass.
If you are in a leadership position, lead.
And if you aren’t prepared to follow, get the hell out of the way.
